KELLY FIELD BANK TOWER

Kelly Field Bank Building is a 9 floor office structure originally the principle offices for the Kelly Field Bank until the merger with Wells Fargo. Currently the building provides office rental space for businesses, and includes onsite parking. The Tower West building was originally constructed in 1983 and subsequently sustained much damage to the structure and Interiors due to deficiencies and incomplete construction. Following conclusion and settlement of the construction legal claims, major repairs were completed in 1989.

ROBERT S. SHOEMAKER & ASSOCIATES performed the Design and Construction Management for the repairs following Forensic Consulting services. The original Condition Survey was prepared for the structure and systems to determine the costs to correct the deficiencies and completion of the construction as compared to the original design documents. The Final Report of the investigation into the failure and repairs of building and system components was used as the professional case evaluation, to establish the formal expert legal opinion of causes and testimony for the Construction Lender, SEAFIRST BANK REAL ESTATE GROUP in settlement of the legal construction claims.
