Prior to the formation of RSSA in 1986, Mr. Shoemaker served as Project Manager, directly responsible for Architectural Engineering and Construction Services throughout the United States. While in the position, Mr. Shoemaker performed services for a variety of clients, including  NEW YORK LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY, KENNEDY and ASSOCIATES, FBS MORTGAGE CORPORATION, FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF CHICAGO and PIEDMONT REALTY ADVISORS.

Mr. Shoemaker also served directly for the  STATE of MISSOURI as Construction Consultant on the 768,000 SF TRUMAN STATE OFFICE BUILDING , Construction Manager on the development of the 30-story   

CITY CENTER SQUARE office commercial retail building in Kansas City, as Construction Administrator on NORTH SUPPLY COMPANY 872,000 SF Corporate Headquarters, FARMLAND INDUSTRIES Corporate Headquarters, and a wide variety of other construction projects. Other previous experience includes assignments as Project Architect on office buildings, hospitals, retail malls, industrial facilities and other design projects, and project manager on the development of multi-family housing properties.
